Okay, so Jaden knew he was going to be in big big BIG trouble, but he had planned this perfectly. He knew how to ride the busses and had made his way this far. He knew there was a better mall up here and he could shop for a long time before he had to catch the bus back home.
To get away he had to make sure all the nannies knew that he was with a different nanny and two nannies thought he left with Meribeth into town. So they were all confused, but confident he was with someone. Jaden didn't think it would take long, but had miscalculated a 30 minute bus ride being 2 hours. It was still fine as it was only 3pm, but that'll mean he'll get home just when everyone would notice he was gone if he left at exactly 6pm.
Jaden swung his legs and lept off the bus seat and ambled down the stairs. The guy had said the Mall was only 5 blocks that way and so Jaden begun his walk. No one was really going to bother him, right?
